Dementia friendly screenings at South Hill Park posterBracknell Film Society

Bracknell Film Society presents a series of specially designed screenings for people living with dementia, and their carers. September is World Alzheimer’s Month, so please spread the word about these vital screenings.

Doors open 1.30pm, film starts 2pm, with a short interval included. Tickets £5.50.

Worthing Film Club

Worthing Film Club: Ten Year Anniversary Screenings at Coast Cafe des Artistes at 7.30pm with a £4 admission fee.

Wacky Wednesdays: Hidden Gems series. Films you might have missed on your filmic life’s tour of the world, but that you really ought to enjoy!

4 October: Deep Red (1975) The giallo to end all gialli. Horror maestro Dario Argento at his best with legendary Goblin soundtrack.

11 October: Baghdad Cafe (1987) Based on Carson Mcullers novella, this beautifully shot bizarre and charming fable is a dose of perfect filmmaking.

Towner Gallery, Eastbourne

This autumn, Towner Art Gallery explores the British landscape on film, from the Yorkshire Pennines to ’70s Glasgow tenements, starting with Derek Jarman’s The Last of England on 12 October.
