Film Hub South East has changed
A part of the UK-wide BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), Film Hub South East was established in 2012, using funds from the National Lottery to support a stronger and more connected approach to growing audiences for British and international film in the region.
The BFI – through its new five year strategy, BFI2022 – has now reaffirmed its commitment to developing audiences for a wider range of film through FAN. To build on the success of FAN’s first years, the BFI has invited applications from those wishing to become lead organisations within the updated network and also set out a number of changes which include redrawing the boundaries of most the English Hub regions. As result, Film Hub South East has now expanded to cover the following areas:
Bedfordshire, Bracknell Forest, Brighton and Hove, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, East Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Luton, Medway, Milton Keynes, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Peterborough, Reading, Slough, Southend-on-Sea, Suffolk, Surrey, Thurrock, West Berkshire, West Sussex, Windsor & Maidenhead and Wokingham.
Other changes are in the pipeline and further information will be available soon – watch this space!
